Richmind WA is seeking passionate and empathetic volunteers to support our Hearing Voices Network (HVN) groups. These peer-led groups provide a safe, respectful space for individuals who hear voices, see visions, or have other unique sensory experiences to share and explore their experiences without judgement
Job Description
About the Role
As a Volunteer Facilitator, you will support the delivery of Hearing Voices groups alongside experienced staff or peer workers. You will help create an inclusive and welcoming environment that values lived experience and promotes connection, understanding, and recovery.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting group facilitation in a respectful, non-clinical setting
Welcoming participants and helping create a safe, inclusive space
Encouraging peer connection and shared learning
Assisting with basic group setup, coordination, and pack-down
Upholding confidentiality and group guidelines

About You
We’re looking for people who are:
Compassionate, open-minded, and respectful of diverse experiences
Strong communicators who can listen without judgement
Reliable and able to work collaboratively
Comfortable supporting people with mental health challenges
Previous experience in group facilitation (supporting)
Desirable:
Lived experience of mental health challenges, or experience supporting others with mental health challenges
Interest in peer-based or recovery-oriented approaches
