About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Recovery Worker for Individualised Community Living Support (ICLS) at Richmond Wellbeing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering person-centered and strengths-based support to individuals accessing our services. The Recovery Worker will work collaboratively with internal teams, support Recovery Support Workers, and facilitate group events to promote engagement and connection.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Prepare, deliver, and implement Individualised Funding Plans following MHC Guidelines.
  • Facilitate Care Coordination Meetings to inform reporting processes.
  • Provide support and leadership to Recovery Support Workers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants using a person-centered approach.
  • Provide keywork support to participants, supporting them in understanding triggers and recovery needs.
  • Document participant progress, data, and information according to RW policy.
  • Develop and facilitate group supervisions and reflections with the ICLS team.
  • Provide feedback to ICLS Manager for program adaptation based on participant needs
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment complying with WHS/OSH requirements.
  • Report incidents, maintain documentation, and complete monthly Consumer File Audits.
  • Working with the clinical and housing teams.

This role is part-time working 120 hours over 4 weeks based out of our Head office in Cannington with travel between Joondalup and Mandurah

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have the following;

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Health, behavioural/social science, community services)
  • Demonstrated experience of working within a multi stakeholder environment to ensure positive recovery outcomes for individuals.
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable members of the community in a recovery-focused and trauma informed manner.
  • Previous experience working in an outreach setting doing home visits.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
  • Previous case management experience
  • Have a demonstrated understanding of recovery and hold a positive and contemporary attitude towards people experiencing mental health distress.
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current WA Driver’s License
  • Current First Aid
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Lived experience of mental health recovery is desirable.
