Job Description

About the Role

Richmind WA is seeking a Scheduling Officer to manage outreach scheduling for our NDIS and ICLS programs.

As a Scheduling Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that participants are matched with the appropriate recovery and support workers, maintaining accurate and recurring rosters. You will work closely with program managers and support workers to oversee job assignments, address cancellations, and align schedules with service agreements.

Additionally, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including community and government agencies, to foster partnerships and promote our services.

Your ability to coordinate effectively, resolve scheduling challenges, and maintain strong relationships will be essential in ensuring the seamless delivery of support to our consumers.

Outreach Scheduling

  • Coordinate and maintain recurring rosters, ensuring participants are matched with suitable support workers.
  • Work closely with program managers to meet consumer needs through effective scheduling.
  • Monitor job declines, cancellations, and ensure service agreements are accurately reflected.
  • Update internal systems and notify relevant staff of any discrepancies.
  • Reschedule participants when necessary and ensure support worker availability is up to date.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including community and government agencies, to promote ongoing referrals and partnerships.
  • Represent and promote Richmind WA’s services through presentations and networking opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You     

To be considered for this role, you will need to have;

Qualifications and Certificates

  • Relevant qualification in Human Services or significant experience in mental health services.
  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than six months)
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid, HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • A current working with Children Check
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • A valid Driver’s licence 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in scheduling and rostering, preferably in a health or community setting.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of phone calls and provide outstanding customer service.

Desirable

  • Experience with Skedulo or similar scheduling systems.
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Lived experience of mental health recovery or as family members of people with a lived experience of recovery is desirable

  • Positive attitude towards people experiencing mental distress.

This role is full-time working Monday to Friday, based in Cannington.
