Job Description

Are you organised, proactive, and ready to make a real difference in people’s recovery journeys through the arts?

At Richmind WA, our HeART & Soul program is transforming creative therapy, connecting people through workshops, exhibitions, and community art initiatives. We’re looking for a Program Administrator who can bring structure, energy, and a love of the arts to help this program flourish.

Why this role matters:
You’ll be the heartbeat behind workshops, exhibitions, and volunteer artist programs — ensuring everything runs smoothly so participants and artists can focus on what matters most: healing, creativity, and connection. Your work will directly support recovery outcomes and community engagement.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate venues, events, and workshops from setup to pack-down.
  • Manage participant registrations, communications, and attendance.
  • Support marketing, social media, and promotion to increase community reach.
  • Help grow fundraising opportunities, grants, and art sales.
  • Coordinate the Volunteer Artists in Residence (VAIR) program, mentoring and onboarding artists.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on program outcomes.

Who you are:

  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • Experienced in administration, events, or program coordination.
  • Communicative and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Passionate about arts, community programs, or creative recovery.

Why you’ll love this role:

  • Be part of a growing, innovative program with tangible impact on mental health recovery.
  • Work closely with David Giles, our Principal Artist in Residence, and a team passionate about creative therapies.
  • Opportunities to contribute to exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Play a central role in shaping a program with long-term sustainability and income opportunities.

This role is fixed-term until June 2026, offering 22 hours a week.
