About Us

Richmond Wellbeing is a leading WA mental health organisation, providingrecovery focused, community-based residential and outreach services for adults and young people. We support people experiencing mental distress to develop the confidence and skills to live their lives, employing evidence-based practice to support recovery and wellbeing.   

We welcome diversity in our workforce, including people with lived experience of mental distress and disability. We employ staff from a range of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.   

We are the first organisation in WA to achieve Rainbow Tick accreditation.

We have work closely withElders Uncle Albert McNamara, Aunty Irene McNamara, Uncle Peter Wilkes, and Aunty Sandra Wilkesto strengthen ties with the Aboriginal community and ensure that our services are culturally secure.

About the Role

Are you passionate about Mental Health and wanting to join a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive non-for-profit organisation making a difference in Mental Health?

We are looking for volunteers across all different positions, programs, or departments. We have residential services in the Metro Area and the Southwest.

Some of the programs that support volunteers are;

  • Outreach Programs such as Hearing Voices 
  • Bouncing Back (Men's Mental Health Program)
  • Residential Services 
  • Group Facilitation (Creative Groups or Psychosocial Education)
  • Marketing and Events

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful you will have the following key attributes:

    • Passion for mental health
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to lean and adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Previous experience in a mental health setting is desirable
    • Willing to obtain a Volunteer National Police Clearance
    • Current WA Driver’s License
